Steve Finnan

Finnan made his debut for the Republic of Ireland in a match in 2000 against Greece and was part of the Irish suad of the 2002 world cup finals. In total he has now made over 40 appearances for the Republic of Ireland. He started his career off playing for Welling United, Birmingham City and Notts County before moving on to play for Fulham in 1998, spending five years at the club. He moved to Liverpool in 2003 and is a regular member of their squad.

Steven Reid

Reid commenced his career playing for Millwall during the 1997-98 season at the age of seventeen years old. He was a key part of the Mill Wall side that was promoted to the first division at the climax of the 2000-01 campaign and earned recognition for the Republic of Ireland national football team, playing for the nation during the 2002 world cup finals. After outstanding displays for Mill wall and Eire, Steven Reid earned a move to Blackburn Rovers for a fee of £1.85 million in the summer of 2003.

Damien Duff

Duff was a key member of the Blackburn team which won the league cup final during the 2002 – 2003 season. In the year 2001, Duff helped Blackburn to promotion to the top flight and in his two hundred appearances for Blackburn saw him score 30 goals. He moved to Chelsea for £17 million in July 2003. After 3 years at Chelsea, he moved to Neastle in the August of 2006. He played for the Republic of Ireland during the 2002 world cup finals and was outstanding for his nation.
