Kevin Moran
Moran commenced his career off playing for Manchester United in the year 1979; he was an assured central defender who gave one hundred percent when playing on the football field. Moran left Old Trafford in the summer of 1988 for Blackburn Rovers and at Blackburn he made a huge impact at the club and immediatley became a supporters favourite. He starred for the Republic of Ireland in the 1990 world cup and was outstanding for Rovers in his final years playing the sport. He was very much a key member of the Blackburn side that was promoted to the premiership at the end of the 1991-92 campaign. He played premier league football for Blackburn Rovers and was part of the Republic of Ireland World Cup 1994 squad.
Chris Hughton
Hughton endured a fine international career playing for the Republic of Ireland, playing in the national team for 14 years between 1979 and 1993, including Euro 88 and the 1990 world cup. He spent his domestic football career playing for Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Brentford FC, he is now assistant manager of Spurs to Martin Jol.
Pat (Packie) Bonner
Bonner is arguably the Republic of Irelands greatest ever goal keeper. He made 80 appearances in goal for the Republic of Ireland, including saving a penalty in the second round of the world cup in 1990, helping Eire in to the quarter finals. He was also in goal for Eire during the 1988 European championships and world cup 1994. He played his domestic football for Celtic, making 642 appearances for the club.
