Shay Brennan
(1965 – 1970)

Brennan nearly spent his entire football playing career with Manchester united, making his debut for the club in 1958. he helped Manchester United win the league title in the years 1965 and 1967 and the 1968 European cup final. In total, he made 355 appearances for the Reds and retired in the year 1970. He played his international football for the Republic of Ireland.

Charlie Hurley
(1965 – 1970)

Hurley is arguably the finest ever centre back to have played his international football for the Republic of Ireland. He played his domestic football at Millwall, signing for the club in the year 1957 before finishing his career at Bolton wanderers and later on being installed as the manager of Reading FC.

Eamon Dunphy
(1965 – 1970)

Dunphy played his domestic football for Millwall, York City, Reading and Charlton Athletic. To this date he is Millwall’s most capped ever football player, earning 23 caps while playing for Millwall with the Republic of Ireland. He later on played for Shamrock Rovers FC, in search of making them a full time professional club at that point in time.
