Tony Dunne

Dunne is one fo the finets ever players to have played for the Republic of Ireland. He moved to Manchester united from Shelbourne in the year 1960. he won the FA Cup in 1963 and the league title with united in 1965 and 1967 and the 1968 European cup. He made a staggering 529 appearances for Man united during his time at the club, making him the fifth higest played player of all time for Manchester united. He ended his career plying for Bolton.

 

Johnny Giles
 
Giles was a fine midfield player who spent the vast majority of his career playing for Leeds United, making over 500 appearances for the club and won several trophies at Elland Road. He made his debut for the Republic of Ireland at the young age of 17 years old and was selected as the best player hailing form the Republic of Ireland in the last 50 years by the Irish football association in the UEFA Jubilee awards in November 2003.He made a total of 59 appearances for Eire and scored five goals for his nation.
